Get Your Fiesta On
Quick and easy tissue paper flowers
Happy Justin Timberlake Meme Day! You know what I’m talking about, I won’t say it. I’ve been so busy dealing with mommy stuff that I’ve been slacking on my crafting. Pinterest has been great for my spare time. I’ve loaded up tons of board with great ideas that have inspired me, but I just haven’t been able to pop into my office to actually create anything. While I know everyone’s mind is on Mother’s Day, I didn’t want to pass up the chance to make a little something for Cinco de Mayo! All I can think about is tacos and tequila (I think I’ll vinyl that on a shirt) for this coming Friday. While I’m not sure that’ll happen in a public place, I thought bringing a little festivity to the house would be fun. Since I’m short on time, I put together these colorful and festive tissue paper flowers in 5 minutes. I have so much tissue paper from the pinata project (check them out here), so I was all for finding more ways to use all of that material. Not 100% sure how I’m going to display them yet, but I was thinking about stringing them together for a banner.
Tissue Paper (festive colors of your choice)
Because a photo is worth a thousand words, I’m going to make this really easy with just photos for the instructions. I have faith in my readers that you can figure it out! 🙂
I cut my tissue paper squares into 6″x6″ pieces, but depending on what you plan to do with them, feel free to make them smaller or larger.
